Full Description

A small rectanguar structure within the curtilage of Glebe Farm, Panton. Marked as a school on the 1905 OS map of the village. {1} There is no mention of a school in Panton in White's 1856 Trade Directory. White's 1872 Directory states that Panton had a parochial school, maintained by the lord of the manor, which was 'well attended'. {2}{3} The building appears to have been demolished in the 20th century and the site is now used for arable farmland. {4}
