Full Description

Site of a former National School on Eastfield Road. Built in 1865 at a cost of £800. It was closed and demolished at some time in the 20th century. The site is now occupied by flats. {1}{2}{3} White’s 1872 Trade Directory states the school was enlarged in 1870, and attended by 360 children. {4}
