Full Description

Former site of St Michael’s Schools. Sunday and Day Schools on St Michael’s Road. The school was built in 1875, and opened in 1876. The school moved to new premises at some point after 1947, after it was decided that the old buildings 'do not comply with modern requirements'. It is unclear when the school buildings were demolished. The site is now occupied by numbers 37-53 Church Street, which include a datestone reading '1980'. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
