Full Description

Former primary school. Large one/one and a half storey yellow brick building, under a steeply pitched roof of slate. Four tall stacks. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that there was a school in the village, supported by the rector. The former school building is shown in its current plan form on both the 1887 and 1906 OS maps of the village. The school closed in August 1987. Its current use is unknown. {2}{3}{4}{5}
