Full Description

Former Inn, converted for residential use. The front elevation is early 19th century (possibly earlier), with 20th century alterations. It has a three storey, 3-bay front, under a shallow slate roof with a brick stack. The building had a rectangular plan form with outbuildings forming a loose courtyard arrangement to the rear (since demolished). The ground floor has a central doorcase with scrolled console brackets supporting a plain architrave, with two triple casement windows either side, each with mullion and accented meeting rail, tapered lintel and flat sill adjoining a pulvinated string course below. The first floor has two triple casement windows with overlights and splayed lintels. On the second floor was 1 triple sash window, each with margin bars, and to the right a single three-over-three sash window. Converted into flats in the late 1990s. {1}
