Full Description

School dating to the mid 19th century. A red brick building under a pitched hipped roof of slate. Several modern extensions and temporary classrooms have been added to the site in the late 20th and 21st centuries. {1}{2}{3} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was built in 1835 to educate children of both sexes. {4}
