Full Description

Former school, now in use as a village hall. Sub-rectangular plan red brick building, under a hipped slate roof. Two infilled doorways with arched lintels of red brick stretchers placed on end. Above each door is a datestone, the left reading 'JGB' and the right '1872'. Two windows, likely originally 6 over 6 sash but replaced by modern uPVC casement windows, also with arched lintels. A porch and a small modern extension were added to the rear of the building in the late 20th century. At the time of the 1950 OS map, the building was still in use as a school. {1}{2}{3}
