Full Description
Demolished in the 1960s. An 18th Century public house with later alterations. It was a three storey building in whitewash brick, under a slate roof with a gable stack. The ground floor had a corner shop front with mullioned display windows and cornice, a recessed entrance adjacent to a mullioned and transomed three light window. On the first floor were two bar sash windows with plain lintels and sills, with the same on the second floor. A house has been built on this site. {1}
