Full Description

Unclassified human remains were found when the water main was laid at Boston. There is a possible connection with the Hospital of St Leonard. {1}{2}{3} The water engineer said they were found in 1954. He described the remains as 'a few bones and fragments of a skull lying in a haphazard arrangement and apparently disturbed'. The coroner was not notified and the remains were buried in the water main trench. The water engineer verified the findspot as approximately correct. {4}
