Full Description

The site of a school erected in 1814 by Lady Anderson. In 1872 it was attended by 30 children, and maintained by the lord of the manor. It was still in use as a school at the time of the 1950 OS Map, but was demolished in the late 20th or 21st century to make room for a large detached house. A plaque in front of the house states that 'parts of the original building still remain inside the house', though noneof the original structure is visible from the street. {1}{2}{3}{4}
