Full Description

A probable 18th century farm house. The first cartographic evidence of the house is in the first edition ordnance survey map, surveyed in 1886 {1}. What is probably the farm house is mentioned in a notice of sale for Manor Farm {2}. The two-storey house is built of stone with a concrete-tile gable roof and velux windows, indicating the presence of a loft conversion added at some point between 2011 and 2021. There are two red brick chimney stacks, one at the western end and another at the southern end. To the façade there is a porch and there are white uPVC windows which are topped by red brick lintels. At some point between 2013 and 2018 a southern extension was added to the southern side of the house. This two-storey extension has been constructed in similar style and with similar materials as the original house, with the main building material being stone with a pantile gable roof and white uPVC windows with red brick lintels. {3}{4}
