Full Description

The malt house can be seen in the late 19th century 1st edition Ordnance Survey map and is mentioned in the 1872 White's directory {1}{2}. It is possible that Barker Joseph, "brewer & maltser", mentioned in the 1828-1829 Pigot & Co Directory worked in the same malt house {3}. The malt house was demolished at some point in the second half of the 20th century. {4}{5}
