Full Description

In 2021 a historic building survey was undertaken to inform the proposed demolition and conversion of three of agricultural outbuildings at Manor Farm, to provide nine new dwellings. These buildings comprised a large two storey barn of unknown purpose, and two cattle sheds. All three buildings are brick built, though the barn retains a significant number of earlier timbers, possibly reused from other farm buildings. A full program of archaeological building recording was undertaken, including notably drawing the internal wooden beams to scale on site. {1}{2}
