The National School was established in 1845 in what is now 4a Church Street. In the 1920s it became the Spalding Parish Church Day School [1]. At some point between 1974 and 1999 rear parts of school demolished and replaced by housing; it is possible that it is then that the school closed and became housing. [2][3]
