Full Description

Public House. Two storey three bay stone building with simple dormers on each bay, under a pitched gabled tile roof. The building has since been extended at the rear to create a catslide roof, with a clear building scar showing the original extent of the south gable elevation. Dentil course under eaves. Windows are replacement 2 over 2 sash, with painted lintels and sills. One gable and one ridge stack. Rough, small quoins on corners. The Blue Horse is not mentioned in White's 1856 Trade Directory, and John Wilson (butcher) is listed as victualler at the inn in 1872. {1}{2}{3}{4}
