Full Description

Public House, yellow brick in English Garden Wall Bond, under a pitched tile roof with two pitched dormers and two gable stacks. Red brick dentil course at eaves, and decorative red tile string course with cruciform patterning. White's 1856 Trade Directory names Elizabeth Hutson as 'victualler' at the Hume Arms, and the 1872 Directory names John White. Building retains its original plan as seen on the 1887 OS Map. {1}{2}{3}{4}
