Full Description

Public House, red brick in Flemish Bond, rendered front and side elevations, under a modern tile roof. Sprawling one/one and a half storey building, originally U-form plan with an open courtyard facing west, now an L-shaped building. Modern extensions and additions. Walter Baldock listed as butcher and victualler at the Shoulder of Mutton in both White's 1856 and 1872 Trade Directories, hence the pub's name. {1}{2}{3}{4}
