Full Description

The surviving north range of an L-shaped farm building complex forming part of a former detached 19th century farmstead. This range comprises, from east to west, a barn with hayloft above, a possible coach house with rooms above, and a single storey stable. The entire range is built in red brick of continuous English Garden Wall Bond, and has a grey slate roof. A date stone of 1841 built into the brickwork on the north elevation of the coach house suggests a mid 19th century date of origin. Along with the eastern and detached western ranges, these buildings formed a U-shape around a crewyard with an open southern end. Various ancillary outbuildings have been constructed in the crewyard in the 20th century. {1}{2}
