Full Description

A few sherds of Romano-British pottery were found including one colour coated ware sherds and some other miscellaneous sherds. {1}{2}{3} A Latin inscription on a stone was found nearby in the area of Bucklegate. It was a dedication to the Emperor Trajan but was believed to be a modern inscription by experts including Roger Tomlin. {4}
