Full Description

Chespool House Farm (King's Farm), Gosberton. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {1} A brief study of the history and development of Chespool House Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in August 2013, prior to the proposed conversion to residential use of some of the former farm buildings. {2}
