Full Description

Former retort house at the Doningon Gas Works. The building is thought to have been constructed in 1856, at the same time that the works were established (see MLI92074). The structure is of two-storeys and was converted into a private residence after the closure and sale of the gas works in 1931. Some alterations have occurred with the conversion, including the addition of an extension. {1}{2}
