Full Description
A number of concrete sockets are visible in the pavement on this part of Nettleham Road, on the Google Maps Street View imagery. The sockets would have been used to hold anti-tank rails or girders, and indicate this was the position of a former anti-tank roadblock during the Second World War. {1}{2}
