Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the east of North Coates. Identified on an aerial photograph taken in 1971 and examined as part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. {1}
The earthworks in the larger, eastern field appear to have been levelled through arable cultivation. The remains within the western, former parkland area appear to have survived better, and can be discerned as a series of faint parallel linear earthworks, aligned on a roughly east to west axis. {2}
