A Second World War pillbox is visible in this location on the Bing Maps aerial photographic and Google Maps satellite imagery layers. The structure was also noted on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. The structure is of the hexagonal type 22 form of pillbox. {1}{2}{3}
