Full Description

A Ruck machine gun post of the Second World War Coastal Crust, to the east of Gibraltar Road, Croft. The structure can be clearly discerned on the Bing Maps aerial photographic and Google Maps satellite imagery layers. The structure was also noted on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. The main concrete ribs of the chamber have survived relatively well, although the layer of concrete paving slabs that formed the outer skin of the post have largely been lost. {1}{2}{3}{4}
