Full Description

Probable former retort house at the Bourne Gas Works. The building is thought to have been constructed in 1840, at the same time that the works were established (see MLI92062). The structure is single-storey, built of red brick with a pitched roof of red clay pantiles. Some alterations have occurred, including the insertion of a modern sliding metal door. {1}{2}{3}
