Milestone of possible 19th century date, on the A52 to the north-east of Bicker. It is triangular in plan, and made of cast-iron. It is inscribed 'HCC' in the top panel, with 'BOSTON 8 MILES' and 'DONINGTON 2 1/2 MILES' in the respective side panels. {1} The milepost was inspected as part of a condition survey of historic milestones in Boston Borough, conducted in early 2020. It was found to be in a relatively good condition at that time, with only limited signs of rust. {2}
