Full Description
Three marker posts are located at Gibraltar Point, along the line of the parish boundary between Croft and Wainfleet St Mary. The posts are made of cast-iron, and are stamped with the intials 'T T D' on the northern side, and 'Ld B' on the southern side. They were erected in the mid 19th century to mark the agreed boundary between Thomas Tyrwhitt Drake and Lord Bayning, after a court case in 1850 settled a dispute between the two landowners. {1}
