Full Description

An outbuilding at Manor Farm, which is likely to be later 19th century in origin and used as a cattle shed. It originally contained two rooms; the northernmost room was used for cows and milking, and the southernmost room was used for calves. A site visit to the outbuilding was undertaken on 5th June 2013 prior to its conversion into holiday cottages. The site visit determined that before the conversion the outbuilding had retained its room arrangement and some original fittings. Photographs showed that the building was of red brick in English Garden Wall bond, with a wooden beam and pantile roof. {1}
