Full Description

Coach house to the former vicarage of 28 High Street (see PRN 55795). The building is thought to have been constructed in the 19th century, at about the same time as the adjacent property. It was originally single-storey, and comprised a single, central space for the carriage with stables to either side. The building was altered in the early 20th century when a first floor hay loft extension was added. Both phases of the building were constructed of brick, with the pitched roof being covered by slate. {1}
