Full Description

The remains of a probable post-medieval pit were recorded in this location in September 2019, during archaeological monitoring of new residential development on land at Tysdale Farm. The pit was quite large in size, measuring at least 4.3m wide and 1m in depth. Two fragments of 16th to 18th century post-medieval brick were recovered from the fill of the pit. {1}{2}
