Full Description

A scatter of Roman pottery was found in October 2020, in the churchyard of the Church of St Helen. The pottery was lying on the surface of the churchyard soil, and appeared to have been brought to the surface by animal burrowing. All of the sherds were of a grey ware fabric, and all appeared to be from the same vessel, which was thought to have been domestic in function. {1}
