Full Description
Cropmarks of a linear ditch of unknown date have been previously recorded in this location at Newton Cliff. It has been thought possible that this ditch represents the southern edge of a Roman temporary camp (see PRN 50546). The cropmarks were not discerned in any aerial photographs of this area that were examined in 2010, however, and this interpretation remains speculative. {1}
