Full Description
The remains of a single ditch and pit were recorded in this location in Novemeber 2017, during archaeological monitoring of groundworks for new development on land off Wesley Way. The ditch was aligned on an east to west axis, whilst the pit feature was wide but shallow. No dateable material was recovered from either feature, however, and their exact origin and function remains unknown. {1}{2}
