Full Description

Sherds of Roman pottery were identified in 1975, during excavation works for new sewerage pipes in the Market Place, close to the war memorial at Long Sutton. The sherds were recovered from a depth of 10-12ft (3-3.5m), and included pieces of samian ware. {1}
