Full Description

The former stable block at Manor Farm was briefly inspected in September 1994, during archaeological monitoring of the construction of new housing at the site. The building is single storey, constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof of red pantiles. The building was being converted to be used as bed and breakfast accommodation at the time of the monitoring. The brickwork was thought to be of 18th century date, making it likely contemporary with the adjacent former farmhouse (see PRN 56014). A former feeding trough was noted in situ, in the southern half of the block. {1}{2}
