Full Description
A Second World War Stanton air raid shelter lies to the south of the Cemetery Lodge at Louth Cemetery. The structure was noted from a distance in February 2020, during a site visit to the cemetery by staff of Lincolnshire County Council. It appears to be mostly intact, although any entrance structures appear to have been removed, and some slight damage to the southern end of the structure appears to have occurred. Approximately ten bays of the pre-cast concrete structure survived at the time of the visit. {1}
