Full Description

Roman pottery including much samian found at Coney Hill, Swineshead. Site reported in 1957 by H.C. Frankish of Swineshead School. {1}{2}{3} The Headmaster of Swineshead School (who retains the finds) investigated the site with the late Mr Frankish. Grid reference on original OS record incorrect (correct NGR now given). {4} Romano-British sherds and saltern material, Coney Hill. {5}
