Full Description
Remains of medieval ridge and furrow, to the north-west of North Coates. Visible as linear earthworks on an aerial photograph taken in 1999. The ridge and furrow clearly lies on top of pre-exisiting saltern mounds. {1}
The earthworks were reported as still surviving during a site visit conducted in August 2016. The furrows are aligned along a roughly south-west to north-east axis. {2}
