Full Description

Dutch barn, located on the west side of the woodyard on the Belton House estate. It has a steel and timber frame, which was clad with corrugated iron with some timber walling. The eastern elevation is open, while the lower third of the northern elevation is open, the southern elevation is partially infilled with timber, and the western elevation is partially infilled with corrugated sheeting. The interior of the barn is a single space open to the roof, and at the time of recording, was being used as a timber store. The dutch barn was surveyed as part of a programme of historic building recording that was conducted on the Belton House estate in March 2018. {1}{2}
