Full Description
A single linear feature was recorded in this location in April 2018, during trial trenching on land to the rear of 36 Cow Lane. The feature could not be fully excavated, as it extended below the safe limit of excavation. It was thought possible that the feature may have functioned as a former drainage ditch, and could possibly be of post-medieval origin. No finds were recovered from the feature, however, and its exact origin remains uncertain. {1}{2}
