Full Description
Faint traces of denuded medieval ridge and furrow were recorded in this area in October 2017, during trial trenching on land at Carmel Green, Boston. A single, north to south aligned furrow was recorded during the trenching, although further faint traces of similarly aligned ridge and furrow had been noticed on land to the immediate south of the site. A single redeposited sherd of probable mid 13th to 15th century Toynton Medieval ware pottery was also recovered from the site. {1}{2}
