Full Description
The remains of a north-west to south-east aligned ditch was recorded in this location in March 2017, during archaeological monitoring of groundworks to replace a culverted section of the River Bain. It was thought possible that the ditch might be associated with Iron Age and Roman remains previously found to the north. No dating evidence was recovered from the feature, however, and its exact origins could not be confirmed. {1}{2}
