Full Description

Former cart shed, dating to the mid 19th century, located at the north-east corner of the farm building complex at Newton Grange. It extends off the eastern elevation of the threshing barn (see PRN 58259). The structure is single storey and is built out of brick, with stalls for 2 carts. It originally featured a pitched roof, but a single hipped roof extension has been added to the eastern end. The whole roof is covered with ceramic pantiles. The northern elevation is open on the western and central bays, and the eastern elevation has a single doorway. The one room extension is likely a storage room. {1}
