Full Description

The Friendship Public House and Hotel is located on Church Street in Gainsborough. It likely opened in the mid 1800s. The original building was demolished and rebuilt in 1927. The building is constructed out of red brick with ashlar dressing, and it features a carriage archway that leads into the rear courtyard. The pub closed around 2000. Planning permission was given to convert the building into flats, but this work has not been completed. {1}{2}
