Full Description

Cart shed on Church View Farm, Spridlington. The exact date of construction is not known, but the cart shed is associated with the older farm buildings within the original farm complex and is thought to have been in existence by 1822. It is a rectangular, 5-bay cart shed, which is open along the eastern elevation. The north end of the building is enclosed. The cart shed has a timber frame, hipped roof, which is covered in red clay pantiles. The building is constructed out of coursed limestone blocks, with red brick dressings, and red brick piers between the bays. The interior space of the cart shed is open-plan, with open roof space. {1}{2}
