Full Description

Large barn of probable mid 19th century date, recorded during a photographic survey of the existing structures at Clifden Farm in early 2018, prior to redevelopment. This is a large single storey, single room barn, found on the south side of the farmyard. It is built in coursed brick. The roof is pitched, with a timber frame, and is covered with corrugated sheet metal. There are two sunlights cut into the south-facing pitch of the roof. There is evidence of a blocked opening in the upper half of one of the gable ends. {1}
