Full Description

Blossom hall is a house built in 1617 and altered in the nineteenth century. It is a two storey red brick building which retains a sixteenth - early seventeenth century wing. It has moulded brick chimneys and mutilated remains of pedimented windows and doorway. The roof is part slate and part corrigated iron. Has Artisan Mannerist features. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {8}
