Full Description
This feature has now been filled in and ploughed over. No local information could be obtained to substantiate that it ever was a true moat. Strugg's Hall which is adjacent, has only two modern cottages and evidence of demolished outbuildings. Published survey (25 inch) revised. {1}
OS map shows pond marked 'moat', rectangular and lying E-W to the south of Strugg's Hall (now Christians Farm). {2}
By 1975, entirely destroyed. {3}{4}
