Full Description

A 14th century pitcher was found during the course of land drainage in the vicinity of St Swithin's Church, Bicker in c.1933. 'Four similar urns were apparently dug up intact and about six others were broken before it was realised that they were of any interest. Mrs E.H. Rudkin is of the opinion that the vessel is almost certainly a product of the Toynton All Saints kilns.' {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
